AEGIR-Marine Hellas celebrates new offices and a complete team
AEGIR-Marine expanded into the Greek market in March 2024, establishing a full-service branch designed to cater directly to the needs of Greek and Mediterranean ship owners and management companies. Since then, the team in Athens has grown to nine people, including a permanently based service engineer. This ensures that AEGIR-Marine Hellas can provide end-to-end support from sales to technical service for stern tube seal and propulsion systems.
“This means we can offer our clients the full package of care,” said Maria Stathopoulou, Branch Manager at AEGIR-Marine Hellas. “We’re proud to serve one of the world’s most important maritime hubs with a dedicated team and local presence.”
In an era defined by digital convenience, the company opted for a personal touch delivering invitations to the event by hand. Co-founder Ruud Muis opened the evening by presenting guests with a symbolic gift: a baby olive tree, representing growth, endurance, and the company’s ambition to thrive alongside its Greek partners.
“We are astounded by the response from our invited guests, almost 200 came for what was an amazing evening of celebration,” said Stathopoulou. “We feel honoured to be celebrating this milestone with so many people. AEGIR-Marine Hellas is now well and truly on the map: operating at full steam ahead in new offices with a complete team.”
With its new Athens office, AEGIR-Marine reinforces its commitment to delivering high-quality, responsive service in key maritime regions continuing a 25-year legacy of innovation, partnership, and excellence in marine engineering.
